KATHMANDU,June23: Nepal Basketball Association (NeBA) is organizing the 12th Women's and 13th Men's National Basketball Championship from Friday in the capital.

The tournament will feature 12 teams in men's and eight teams in women's section, according to Lama Tendi Sherpa, the president of NeBA.

The matches will be held at National Sports Council covered hall and Morgan College court in Basundhara.

Meanwhile, members of men's national squad will not compete in the tournament since they are under training for FIBA Asia Challenge Qualifying to be held in Bengaluru, India, from July 6 to 8.
