The Oli led government has been criticized for its decisions to encroach freedom of expression while being accused of totalitarian regime.
Activists argue that such intolerance from the government was against state’s promise to guarantee human rights and freedom of expression enshrined in the Nepali constitution. It also deterred anyone from seeking justice.
