More people complaining of health issues with weather change

BAITADI, June 25: With the change in weather, the number of patients visiting the District Hospital in Baitadi has increased.

Presently, some 80-100 people reach the health facility with complaints of several health issues.

According to the hospital's Doctor Jagdish Chandra Bista, more numbers of patients are coming to see doctors these days compared to normal days.

Among them, aged citizens and children make up the largest section.

During season change, micro bacteria become more active, posing an increased risk of infection to humans. Several infections are caused by water, he said, suggesting that we should be more cautious about health in this season and avoid using unsafe water.
