KATHMANDU, June 11: The monsoon is delayed this year, too. Normally, the monsoon begins from June 10 in our country but it is likely to take one more week to start, according to meteorologist.
“The monsoon has started in Bhutan and Bangladesh. It will enter Nepal after a week,” said meteorologist Samir Shrestha.
The monsoon had started from June 15 last year.
It is raining in different parts of Nepal as an indication of the start of the monsoon. “Currently, the weather condition including direction of wind, humidity, clouds are not so favorable for monsoon. However, there are indications showing that the monsoon is beginning soon,” said Shrestha.
