MoneyGram awards contest winners

KATHMANDU, Sept 13: MoneyGram, a money transfer and payment service provider has awarded the winners of its special promotion scheme, and announced its continuation throughout Dashain festival as a promotional activity.

The scheme valid from May to July offered customers a chance to double their transaction amount each week, the company said in a statement. “I am happy that we could present the 24 winners of our earlier promotion with twice the amount of the money they had received,” the statement quoted Sheshagiri Malliah, Regional Head, Indian Sub-Continent, Indo-China, and Malaysia at MoneyGram, as saying.

The statement also quoted Marketing Head of Asia Pacific, South Asia and Middle East, Sabrina Chan saying: “We are grateful to be able to connect with so many people through this campaign and others like it in the future.”
