KATHMANDU, Nov 24: The Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development (MoFALD) has introduced and implemented 18 laws for the operation of local levels.
The Ministry has brought 18 laws into force to facilitate the operation of local levels, according to Ministry joint spokesperson Januka Subedi.

Five acts, regulations and procedures under the Federal Act, eight sample acts and executive orders, guidelines and procedures for the local levels and five acts related to the management of natural resources at the local level have come into force.
The Ministry has almost formulated laws required to be done from the centre for the operation of local levels while drafts have been prepared for laws to be formulated by the State and the local-level, according to Subedi.RSS
