KATHMANDU, March 23: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradip Kumar Gyawali took the account of Nepalese migrant workers in the Middle East and African countries with the Nepali ambassadors of respective countries through a video conference amid the global coronavirus outbreak today.
Amid the global pandemic, Minister Gyawali spoke to Nepali ambassadors in the Middle East and African countries to enquire about the status of Nepali workers and the effects of COVID-19 in the Nepali economy and foreign employment.

During the video conference, Gyawali also urged the ambassadors to report to the Government of Nepal on the regular basis on the status of Nepali in respective nations amidst the global outbreak of COVID-19.
He also informed that the Nepali envoys about the measures the Nepal government has adopted to contain the viral outbreak.
Furthermore, he directed Nepali people around the world to stay safe, well informed and cooperate with the Nepal government at this difficult period.
