MOFA recommends ten under secretaries for promotion to joint secretaries

The ministry made the recommendations on the basis of seniority and performance evaluation. Under secretaries who are dissatisfied with the decision have the option to file a complaint within 35 days from Monday.

KATHMANDU, Dec 17: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) has recommended the names of 10 under secretaries for promotion to the five vacant posts of joint secretary.


The ministry made the recommendations on the basis of seniority and performance evaluation. Under secretaries who are dissatisfied with the decision have the option to file a complaint within 35 days from Monday.

Those recommended for promotion are Pushpa Raj Bhattarai, Mani Ratna Sharma, Lok Bahadur Paudel Chhetri, Kiran Shakya, Durpasa Sapkota, Dadhiram Bhandari, Hari Prasad Odari, Prakash Adhikari, Damaru Ballabh Paudel and Paras Pandit.
