KATHMANDU, Sept 6: Ministry of Education (MoE) is all set to honor students with the Nepal Vidya Bhushan on the Education Day this year.

The 37th Education Day and the International Literacy Day is being marked on September 8.

According to the MoE, President Bidya Devi Bhandari will present the awards to the top performimg students in the school and university level exams on the Education Day.

A total of 190 students will be feliciated with Nepal Vidya Bhushan A, 81 students with Nepal Vidya Bhushan B, and 15 students with Nepal Vidya Bhushan C, said Dr Hari Prasad Lamsal, spokesman at the MoE.

"Similarly, 26 girl students will be rewarded with the Nepal Chhatraa Vidya Padak A and four girl students with Nepal Chhatraa Vidya Padak B," Lamsal added.
