ILAM, March 12: The Association of the People with Visual Impairment in Ilam has distributed Android mobile phone to the visually impaired students.
A total of 19 visually impaired students from Ilam, Panchthar and Taplejung districts have been provided the sets of mobile phone with the assistance from Action Disabled Rights and Development Nepal, said Association Chairman, Padam Subba.
The phone sets having special software friendly to such students is provided to help them in their study.
The visually impaired students have also been provided residences at a local Bal Mandir primary school.(RSS)
