Police would be informed if women shake their mobile sets thrice when someone tries to abuse them. The app, according to app developer Aditya Raj, was developed to update cases of violence against women instantly.

“This app will help to discourage the cases of violence against women,” said Raj.

CM Raut, Internal Affairs and Law minister Gyanendra Kumar Yadav, Minister for Social Development Nawal Kishor Sah, State Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Saroj Singh Kushwaha and Principal Secretary of Province 2, Rajeshwor Man Singh among others were present at the function.

CM Raut hoped that the use of the app would decrease cases of sexual assaults. “Every citizen should be informed about the latest technologies so that the violence against women could be decreased in the coming days,” said CM Raut.
