KATHMANDU, March 31: Newly-appointed Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Sharat Singh Bhandari, has vowed to make his ministry a reputed institution. Minister Bhandari made the remarks while assuming his office at Singha Durbar today.
Creation of jobs within the country and making foreign employment dignified and well managed will be his priority, he said, adding that the ministry will be run in a way that contributes to national prosperity.
According to him, all activities of the ministry will be reviewed. The newly appointed minister further stressed on encouraging skilled human resources for foreign employment.
Minister Bhandari decided to form a taskforce to make effective the activities of organizations providing orientation to the workers.
