KATHMANDU, June 18: The discussion on budget allocation for the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation scheduled for today’s meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) has been taken off the agenda.

The decision came after the objection raised by CPN-UML's Whip Mahesh Bartaula. He argued that the title mentioned numbers instead of the name of the province.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire allowed Tourism Minister Sudan Kirati to address the issue raised by UML Whip Bartaula. Minister Kirati assured that the numbers would be corrected, and the name of the province would be included.

However, Whip Bartaula insisted on resolving the matter before proceeding with the meeting, leading Speaker Ghimire to remove the ministry's name from the agenda of today's meeting.
