KATHMANDU, Jan 30: The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport has formed a vehicle accident reduction study task force under the coordination of former government secretary Sharad Chandra Paudel.
The task force has been formed to prepare a study report on vehicle pollution, vehicle safety and accident reduction by the decision of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport.
The members of the working group are former Additional Inspector General (AIG) of Nepal Police Bigyan Raj Sharma, Dr Padam Bahadur Shahi of Pulchok Engineer Campus, IT Engineer Bijay Paudel, President or Representative of Society of Transport Engineers Nepal (SOTEN) and Director General or Member Secretary of Department of Transport Management. The task force will study vehicle pollution, vehicle safety and accident reduction.
