KATHMANDU, July 15: The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has directed the chief administrative officers of all 753 local levels to be available at the office round the clock.
Ministry Spokesperson Bhupal Baral informed that the Ministry issued such direction in view of the immediate need of rescue and rehabilitation owing to floods, landslides and inundations in different parts of the country.
He further said for the absence of chief administrative officers at some local levels at the time of the disaster, the rescue activities and relief distribution to the disaster victims were badly affected. So, they were directed again not to leave the working stations but provide service with utmost coordination and effectiveness.
