POKHARA, Sept 10: Health Minister Gagan Thapa has instructed the health workers to work in a way to provide treatment service to the needy people visiting government health facilities in a result-oriented manner. 

Laying foundation stone for the construction of a maternity ward on the premises of the Western Regional Hospital here on Saturday, Minister Thapa pledged to provide any support the health facilities require to bring about reforms in the health sector within 100 days. 

He also asked the hospital management to establish a mechanism to provide easy and timely information to the patients about the health services they entitle to. 

The Minister also reiterated his commitment to take ahead the tasks of establishing Health Science Academy. RSS
