KATHMANDU, Feb 6: Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security, Krishna Kumar Shrestha will be heading off to the UAE next week for the management of Nepalis stranded there. Minister Shrestha will negotiate with the UAE government for the management of Nepalis who went to the UAE on tourist and other visas but are stranded there.
Similarly, Minister Shrestha also had a discussion with the Ambassador of the UAE to Nepal, Saeed Hamdan Al naqbi, at the Ministry today on how to bring the organization or person leaving Nepali citizens stranded in the UAE under the ambit of action and bring justice to the victims.

In the discussion, Minister Shrestha said that assistance was expected from the UAE government in providing employment opportunities to the Nepalis stranded in the UAE, granting amnesty to those who were forced to stay illegally, reducing the fees that should be paid after expiration of the visa period and repatriating those rescued.
Likewise, a meeting of Nepal-UAE Joint Committee will also be organized during Minister Shrestha's visit to the UAE.
