KATHMANDU, April 18: Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Uma Regmi, who was undergoing treatment for head injury at Bir Hospital since Wednesday, has been discharged from the hospital on Sunday.
Minister Regmi had accidently injured her head while trying to sleep. Her MRI report revealed that she had a blood clot in the outer part of the cortex. Minister Regmi said that her health condition was improving after being discharged from the hospital.
According to Himang Bhandari, the minister's personal secretary, doctors involved in the treatment have advised Regmi to take rest at her residence for one week. Minister Regmi thanked all doctors, nurses, hospital administration and others involved during her treatment.
