KATHMANDU, July 2: Minister for Industry, Som Prasad Pandey on Saturday claimed that news of a change in the government is rumors.



Speaking at an interaction at Reporters’ Club, Minister Pandey said that there have been no discussions in the ruling coalition apropos the change at the helm.



“Be assured, this government will hold polls,” he said.



Saying that the KP Sharma Oli-led government has accomplished historic tasks, Minister Pandey added, “Such an excellent budget was not brought in the history of the country. The budget has speeded up the reconstruction works, preserved self-respect of the country and opened new avenues.”



He was of the opinion that the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) has accepted the constitution as take part in the election of the prime minister.
