KATHMANDU, June 18: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Prakash Jwala, has directed the construction entrepreneurs to intensify the expansion of road from Suryabinayak to Dhulikhel.
During the inspection of the expansion works on Saturday, Minister Jwala said the ministry would award those excelling the works while punishing the delayers and laggards. The Minister was accompanied by Director General at Road Department, Sushil Babu Dhakal, and others.

The expansion drive is underway by dividing the works into two sections. Total length of the road to expand is 16-km.
Project chief Rajendra Das informed that three motorable bridges would be constructed as part of the expansion. The cost of the expansion is some Rs 8.42 billion.
