KATHMANDU, July 2: Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) Nepal has advised people to take precaution saying that there might be heavy rainfall in few places of the country on Monday.
Issuing a press bulletin this morning, MFD has said “Light to moderate rain will continue at many places in the country with chances of heavy rainfall at a few places of the country.
Meanwhile, MFD has warned of floods and landslides at a few places where heavy rains are expected to occur.
People living near the banks of the rives are especially advised to take precaution as the level of waters in the Kankai, Kamala, Bagmati, Narayani, Pashchim Rapti, Babai, Karnali and Mahakali are gradually increasing.
