Metmani Chaudhary of Unified Socialist elected HoR member from Dang-1

DANG, Nov 25: CPN (Unified Socialist) candidate and Urban Development Minister Metmani Chaudhary has been elected from Dang-1.

Chaudhary secured victory by defeating his closest rival Shanta Chaudhary of CPN-UML with a margin of 5,084 votes. He got 26,653 votes while UML's Shanta got 21,479 votes. Likewise, Devraj Pathak of Rashtriya Swatantra Party got 13,794 votes.
