MetLife Nepal and Doko Recyclers collaborate to revitalize park at Karyabinayak Temple premises

KATHMANDU, April 5: MetLife Nepal, in partnership with Doko Recyclers, celebrated the completion of a significant community project today with the inauguration of the rejuvenated park situated at the revered Karyabinayak Temple premises in Bungamati, Lalitpur.

KATHMANDU, April 5: MetLife Nepal, in partnership with Doko Recyclers, celebrated the completion of a significant community project today with the inauguration of the rejuvenated park situated at the revered Karyabinayak Temple premises in Bungamati, Lalitpur. The initiative, launched by MetLife Nepal in November 2023, marks a milestone in local community engagement and environmental stewardship.


Under the supervision of Doko Recyclers and in close collaboration with Lalitpur Metropolitan City-22, the park underwent transformation, encompassing landscaping, and installation of new display boards, implementation of waste management infrastructure, and the maintenance of toilet facilities. The project aimed not only to enhance the aesthetics of the area but also to create a welcoming space for the local community to gather and enjoy.

Reflecting on the significance of the initiative, Nirmal Kaji Shrestha, General Manager of MetLife Nepal, emphasized the company's commitment to community welfare and sustainable practices. "As members of the community, we are proud to have been part of the park restoration project at Karyabinayak Temple. Our partnership with Doko Recyclers reflects MetLife’s commitment to promoting sustainable site conservation practices that benefit both people and the environment. According to the company, the successful completion of the park renovation project signifies the importance of public-private partnerships in driving positive change within communities. MetLife Nepal and Doko Recyclers have pledged to continue their efforts to maintain and preserve the newly revitalized park, ensuring that it remains a cherished space for generations of Nepalis to come.
