HoR meeting postponed to 4PM

As the parties did not reach an agreement, the meeting of the House of Representatives, which was called for 1PM on Monday, has been postponed to 4PM.
The discussion between Speaker Devraj Ghimire, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba, and CPN -UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli will resume at 3:30PM.
According to NC Chief Whip Ramesh Akhtar, the discussion on opening the obstruction in parliament is positive.
The CPN-UML has been obstructing the proceedings of parliament since July 29, demanding the formation of a parliamentary probe committee to investigate the gold smuggling case.
