KATHMANDU, March 2: Chairman of Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party Narayan Man Bijukchhe (Rohit) has accused Pushpa Kamal Dahal of helping to ratify the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) grant agreement due to fear of being taken to International Court of Justice(ICJ) for killing 17,000 people in the course of ‘people’s war’.

Inaugurating Nhu Pukhu (Ranipokhari) in Bhaktapur on Tuesday, Bijukchhe said that the CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal stood in the favor of ratification of the MCC grant agreement due to fear.

Stating that it is unfortunate that the parliament ratified the MCC by a majority on Sunday evening against the will of the people, he said that his party had staged a nationwide protest against it.

Bijukchhe said that MCC would be fatal for Nepal and Nepalis. He also said that the parties of Nepal have betrayed the people by ratifying the MCC against the interest of the country.
