KATHMANDU, Oct 3: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the US-funded project Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), Alice Albright, who is currently on a visit to Nepal, held a meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the latter's official residence in Baluwatar.
Prime Minister Dahal's Secretariat said that the meeting discussed the implementation of the MCC project starting from August 30.

Albright, who came to Nepal on Sunday, earlier met with CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Prakash Jwala and others.
Six years after the signing of the agreement between the US and Nepal government, the MCC project came into implementation on August 30. MCC Chief Executive Officer Albright has visited Nepal to celebrate the bilateral partnership between Nepal and the United States and to mark the successful launch of the MCC-Nepal Compact Agreement, according to the American Embassy in Kathmandu.
