Three persons killed while seven persons sustained injuries in two separate explosions in Kathmandu on Sunday afternoon, police said. Spokesperson of the Nepal Police Biswaraj Pokharel confirmed that one person died after the explosion at a private house at Ghattekulo. One person was injured in the incident.
Senior leader of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Jhala Nath Khanal has drawn the attention of the government to reach political consensus in a bid to settle the conflict-era cases as early as possible.
