KATHMANDU, April 29: ACC Premier Cup semi-final between Nepal and Kuwait has been stopped due to rain. It is currently raining at the TU International Ground in Kirtipur.
Nepal was stopped after scoring 141 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 23.2 overs. After losing the toss and batting first, Rohit Paudel scored 30 runs and Kushal Malla scored 32 runs for Nepal.
Before that, openers Kushal Bhurtel and Asif Sheikh were dismissed after scoring 43 runs and 31 runs. Both were caught by Kuwait's Adnan Idris while Bhim Sarki added just one run and was dismissed by Mohammad Aslam. Spectators are waiting for the rain to stop and the game to resume.
