KATHMANDU, August 4: The Babai river in the mid-western region has witnessed gargantuan flood, which experts have claimed is likely to cause damage to the low-lands adjacent to the Babai river.
Anticipating possible damage that the flooded river may cause, Meteorological Forecasting Division(MFD) has appealed to the general public to act in such a way as to forestall it.
MFD chief Binod Parajuli has urged the concerned people to keep the low-lands adjacent to the river empty until next notice is issued.
