TSC postpones temporary teachers examinations indefinitely

Exams for temporary teachers have been postponed indefinitely after the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) cited that the exam would only fulfill partial teacher requirements, thereby further affecting education. Earlier today, three student unions had protested demanding postponing of the exams and called for an indefinite educational strike if the government didn’t scrap the ninth amendment of the Education Act that provisions 75 per cent reservation for temporary teachers in the examination.
