KATHMANDU, Dec 14: The CPN (Maoist Center) is going to take special initiatives to break the stalemate in the federal parliament.
A meeting of the Maoist Center’s parliamentary party held in Singha Durbar today decided to take ‘positive initiatives’ for the exit as the issues related to people's livelihoods including important bills could not move forward due to the long obstruction in parliament.
The main opposition CPN (UML) had repeatedly obstructed the previous sitting of parliament and the important bills are still stuck in the House. During the meeting, Maoist Center Chairman and parliamentary party leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal gave instructions to play an active role in the federal parliament meeting.
