KATHMANDU, June 5: The CPN (Maoist Center), which is one of the coalition partners in the Koshi Province government, is preparing to withdraw its support to the provincial government.
The Maoist Center has called a meeting of the parliamentary party on Monday to take a decision on withdrawing the support given to the state government.
If the Maoist Centre withdraws its support to the government led by Hikmat Karki, the parliamentary party leader of the CPN-UML, the party will fall in minority in the province. Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has already withdrawn its support to the Koshi Province government after quitting the government.
