Maoist Center leader Banjade dies in road accident

RUPANDEHI, Nov 24: CPN (Moist Center) central member Ram Prasad Banjade, who was injured in a road accident, died today. He died at the Lumbini City Hospital in Butwal.

RUPANDEHI, Nov 24: CPN (Moist Center) central member Ram Prasad Banjade, who was injured in a road accident, died today. He died at the Lumbini City Hospital in Butwal.  


A west-bound passenger bus (Na 7 Kha 906) hit a motorcycle (Lu 26 Pa 5898) Banjade was riding at Jitgadhi in Butwal, leading to the accident. He was returning home in Butwal from Dang district after attending a meeting, said Nirmal GC, Maoist Center coordinator of Rupandehi.

The Maoist Center leader and Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Kul Prasad KC among other party leaders reached the home of Banjade and offered their condolences to the deceased. The last rites of Banjade are scheduled for today itself at Magarghat in Tilottama, it has been said. 


Banjade is survived by his wife, a daughter and a son.
