PANCHTHAR, May 23: CPN (Maoist Center) has geared up for the second phase of local level elections in the district.
With its candidate nominated already, Maoist Center has started holding election campaigns aggressively while the other parties are still squabbling over the selection of candidates.
Maoist Center leaders and cadres are holding door-to-door campaigns with their election manifesto in the district which has one municipality and seven rural municipalities.
Maoist Center has fielded Radha Krishna Neupane and Ramuna Lakandri Nembng. Similarly, Mahendra Jabegu has been fielded for the post of chief and Kabita Thamsuhang for deputy chief of Felelung Rural Municipality.
Bhim Mabo and Indira Pokharel for Yangrak, Rabin Timsina and Elisha Wagle for Hihihang Rural minicipaliy as chief and deputy chiefs have been fielded, respectively.
All party rank and files have been mobilized for the election campaign, utilizing social media.
