Maoist Center decides to summon CC meeting later today

KATHMANDU, August 15: A standing committee (SC) meeting of CPN (Maoist Center) has decided to call a Central Committee (CC) meeting later on Sunday afternoon.

A SC meeting held at Parisdanda in Kathmandu earlier today took a decision to this effect.

According to Narayankaji Shrestha, the spokesperson for the party, the meeting also dwelled on the work division of the leaders. “The reports to be submitted at the CC meeting will be discussed and decisions will be taken in the SC meeting to be held on Monday,” he added.

The CC meeting to be held later today is also likely to discuss a political and organizational report submitted by the Chairman of the party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
