Maoist CC meeting put off

KATHMANDU, July 15: The United CPN (Maoist) put off the central committee meeting scheduled for Wednesday.



According to Maoist spokesperson Dinanath Sharma, the meeting was postponed due to a busy schedule of chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.



Meanwhile, the party is making public its views on the budget presented by the government.



The Maoists are holding a press meeting at 4.30 p.m. on Wednesday at Singha Darbar where senior Maoist leader Dr Baburam Bhattarai, a former finance minister, will brief on the party’s views on the budget.
