Maoist cadre arrested for attacking NC member with khukuri

ROLPA, May 11: Police have arrested Prakash KC, a CPN (Maoist Center) cadre, who attacked Nepali Congress (NC) cadre and ward chairperson Man Bahadur Budha, 30, and Kamal Budha, 20, with a Khukuri at Gangadev Rural Municipality-5 on Monday night. 

KC was arrested from Tharmarey of Salyan, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Binod Ghimire. 

Man Bahadur was rushed to Nepalgunj from Dang Hospital on the same night after his condition became serious. A team of Rolpa police reached the site after some cadres of the Youth Communist League (YCL), the youth wing of the CPN (Maoist Center) attacked the two NC members.
