KATHMANDU, Jan 3: Actor Dayahang Rai has said that many contemporary Nepali filmmakers lack the knowledge and skills required to make quality cinemas.
In an interview with Nepal Republic Media's "#2030", the young Nepali actor said, "Those who are now being called as filmmakers in our industry, in fact, lack the required knowledge to make quality cinemas. Still, many of them may feel hurt."
Saying that the Nepali film industry has not achieved what it is capable of achieving, he appealed to the younger generation to take the lead in revitalizing the industry.
