KOHALPUR, Oct 8: Durgabahadur Khadka has produced a film ‘Mann Ta Pardeshi’ in association with the local actors of Kohalpur.
The film is based on the mindset of Nepali society where youths are left with no option but to go abroad in search of better employment and educational opportunities. The movie was premiered at a charity show in Nepalgunj on Saturday. Proceeds from the show will be given to an organization working for differently abled children.

According to Khadka, ‘Mann Ta Pardeshi’ is based on his experience while he was living abroad during 2052 BS to 2058 BS. He added that he had also incorporated the struggles of other Nepali migrants who are forced to leave their homeland in search of work.
The film, shot in Qatar, was made at the budget of Rs 3.5 million. Moreover, 40 percent of the income from the film will be donated for the welfare of differently abled children, informed Khadka.
Actor Dipeshraj Pandey, Sabita Giri, Bikram Renu Sharma, Ramila Acharaya, Durga Kadhka and DK Nepal, among others, have played various roles in the film.
