Actress Manisha Koirala and Nepal's goodwill ambassador for Visit Nepal Year 2020; Chinese actress Xu Qing were in Lumbini as the participants at International Conference for Peace and Agreement on Monday.
Guterres' visit to Lumbini raises hopes for tourism promotion
Regarding her visit, Manisha shared a photo along with Xu via her official Twitter handle on December 10. Her post read, “Met gorgeous popular Chinese actress Xu Qing, on my way back from #Lumbini. She is Nepal's goodwill ambassador for #VisitNepalYear2020.”
The three-day conference concluded on Wednesday. Meanwhile, during the conference, Manisha and Xu Qing visited various tourist destinations in Lumbini. Manisha inaugurated an art exhibition titled 'Peace and Support', which was held at the Global Peace Center, Lumbini. A total of nine paintings related to Lumbini and Buddha were showcased in the exhibition.
Before its inauguration, Manisha visited the Mayadevi Temple, Ashok pillar and Pushkarni pond. Likewise, Chinese actress Xu also offered her homage at the Mayadevi Temple and Ashok pillar. Representatives from countries including India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and China including Nepal attended the conference.
