Pioneer photographer Mani Lama's latest exhibition ‘Images of the City’ came to a conclusion in Yala Mandala on Saturday.
This is Mani’s solo exhibition after almost 10 years. The exhibition featured 30 photos taken by Mani over the course of 40 working years. Though black and white, his photos depicted the colorful essence of human life across Nepal.

In one of the photos, Mani had captured people in their daily settings, in their work, or just lounging around the streets. The exhibition also featured photos of landmarks and cultural festivals in the past.
According to the organizers, the photos were displayed as a collateral event for Kathmandu Triennale, which was held from March 24 to April 9, 2017.
Mani is well known for projects like ‘Postcards of Nepal’ and ‘Nepal: The Himalayan Kingdom’ (the coffee-table book), among others, and was awarded with the Photo Kathmandu Award of Excellence 2015.
The exhibition had started from July 4.
