MAHOTTARI, Feb 6: Manara Siswa Municipality of Mahottari district has passed a budget of Rs 338.6 million for the fiscal year 2018/19. 

The first town assembly of the municipality passed its budget and policies and programmes on Monday. 

As per the budget programme, the municipality plans to construct birthing centres at three places in the municipality, to build roads connecting all the municipality wards, to start a special education plan and to implement programmes for agricultural development. 

Meanwhile, the Cottage and Small Industries Office, Mahottari has provided entrepreneurship development training to 24 people of Manara municipality and 12 people of Gaushala municipality in the district. 

Office chief Arjun Kumar Mandal said that the participants were imparted entrepreneurship development skills in the 10-day training.
