UDAYAPUR, May 14: Laxmi Manang Marshyangdi Club has advanced into the semifinals of the ongoing fifth Rumpum Udayapur Gold Cup Football Tournament defeating the host Udayapur XI 1-0 on Sunday. 

Manang’s Bimal Rana scored the winner in the 83rd minute after the first half ended in a goalless draw. Both the teams got a lot of good chances in front of the goal, but wasted them. 

Udayapur’s Rembo Chaudhary was named the man-of-the-match and was rewarded with Rs 7,000. 
Ruslan Three Star Club will take on Morang XI on Monday.
