Man kills wife with sharp weapon

URLABARI (Morang), Feb 8: A man killed his wife by attacking her with a sharp weapon at Sijuwa in Morang district this afternoon. 

The deceased has been identified a Shanta Sutiyar at Musahar settlement of Sijuwa-6 in the district. 

The incident took place when Uday Sutiyar attacked his wife Shanta with the sharp weapon at 12:30 pm under the influence of alcohol. 

Critically injured Shanta died while receiving treatment at Rangeli Hospital, said Police Inspector Keshav Kumar Katuwal. 

Uday also consumed poison soon after the incident and has now been receiving treatment at Koshi Zonal Hospital, Biratnagar. RSS
