KATHMANDU, Feb 3: Police on Saturday arrested a 34-year-old man while carrying 3 kilograms of marijuana from Chitwan to Kathmandu.
According to police, Uttam Baral of Galdanda Rural Municipality-4 was held with the narcotics concealed in a bag at Nagdhunga Checkpoint during a security check.
Baral was heading to Kathmandu from Chitwan in a microbus with the Registration No. Ba 5 Kha 1971.
Similarly, 33-year-old Dibhushan Sherchan was intercepted with 900 grams marijuana during a security check at Nagdhunga today.
Sherchan was held with the narcotics while he was heading to Kathmandu from Dhading by a car, Ba 15 Cha 4847.
