Aslam Kha Musalman of Maharajganj-8 had hired nine people, including six girls, to work in the paddy field. He allegedly gave the six girls food mixed sedatives on Thursday night with the ill intension of sexually assaulting them. [break]
The girls -- Maya Sunar, Sunita Shris, Atimaya Pariyar, Babita Ghartimagar, Manasari Ghartimagar and Sujana Sunar-- from Sivapur -5, Kapilbastu lodged a complaint with the police accusing Musalman of drugging them with the ill-intention of sexually assaulting them.
According to Maya Sunar, who had prepared the food, Musalman secretly mixed sedatives in the food. Maya also informed that Musalman was about to sexually assault her but that she was saved by Ishwor Ghartimagar, one of the workers.
According to the victim girls, they smelt a rat after they started vomiting after eating the food and complained to the police. Police has confirmed the use of sedatives in the food given to the workers.
Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police Rajendra Dhakal informed that Musalman will be tried under public offense Act. Musalman could also face punishment for rape attempt if proven guilty.
