NAWALPARASI, Sept 29: A person died after being electrocuted in Nawalparasi West today.
The deceased has been identified as Jaya Prakash Yadav, a resident of Ramgram Municipality-7. According to the information provided by the District Police Office Spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police, Resham Bohara, the incident occurred at 6:00AM while the man was attempting to switch off a street lamp at Ujaini.

Though he was rushed to the district-based Prithvi Chandra Hospital, doctors pronounced him dead at 6:40 am. Eyewitnesses at the scene reported that WIFI and other wires had fallen onto the street.
