Man buried to death in Palpa

PALPA, July 4: A man has been buried to death by a landslide triggered by the incessant rainfall on Tuesday.

The deceased is 53-year-old Nir Bahadu Sunari of Rambha Rural Municipality-2, Phoksingkot, District Police Office, Palpa told Republica Online. .

Sunari was buried by the landslide while he was returning home from Jhokedi.

Police with the help of locals retrieved his body from the incident site.

The incident took place at 11 am today. Sunari’s body has been taken to District Hospital for postmortem.
