UDAYAPUR, Oct 2: A man named Mukesh BK, 30, has been arrested on the charge of raping a 59-year-old woman in a jungle of Dwarkhola in Chaudandigadhi Municipality-5 at around 6PM on Thursday.

According to the District Police Office, Udayapur, BK was taken under control by a police team after a complaint was lodged against him at the Area Police Office, Beltar on Friday. The police have started an investigation by keeping him in custody at the Area Police Office, Beltar.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ved Prasad Gautam who is also the spokesperson for the District Police Office, further action will be taken against BK under the Rape Act after seeking remand from the District Court.
