MAKWANPUR, March 27: Makwanpur police have arrested 23-year-old Rahul Das of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-1, Chowkitol, on charges of murdering his elder sister-in-law, 35-year-old Guddi Das. According to police reports, Rahul also attacked his elder brother, 28-year-old Rupesh Das, with a khukuri during a domestic dispute, leaving him seriously injured.
Following the incident, police from the Chowkitol post arrested Rahul. Further investigation revealed that before attacking Rupesh, Rahul had already killed Guddi Das in her bedroom using the same weapon. A police team from the District Police Office, Makwanpur, later discovered her body in the room.

Rupesh Das, who sustained critical injuries, is currently undergoing treatment at Sahayogi Hospital in Hetauda. Authorities have initiated further investigations into the case.
